After graduating from a Diploma of Building Design in 2014 I was lucky enough to be asked back to help tutor the Building Design and Interior Design students of 2015. Hopefully by helping other students in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop and other programs related to the course they will be able to achieve the same success which I have been able to achieve.

 

Architectural Draftsperson. Ace Space Design / Hennig Brothers Construction.

2014 - present

 

Working full time Ace Space Design and in collaberation with Hennig Brothers Construction I have learnt lots using ArchiCad. Work involves producing working drawings and conceptual works for clients in ArchiCad for Residential, Commercial and Industrial buildings.

 

The Pizza Shop, Bli Bli

2013 - 2015

 

As a senior member of The Pizza Shop Bli Bli I am responsible for taking orders, making pizzas as well as keeping the shop tidy. I am always well presented and work well with my other employees. I also work well with the public, making them feel comfortable.

Working at Maroochydore Seafoods I was responsible for taking orders over the counter and on the phone, as well as keeping the shop tidy. I am always well presented and work well with my other employees.

Studying a Diploma of Building Design at TAFE Queensland - East Coast was an enjoyment as Jacob found appreciation in architecture, design and graphics during his senior schooling. At TAFE many software skills were learnt giving him the potential to grow into the future.

Jacob was a student at St John's College from 2008 to 2012. In his senior years Jacob achieved above average results which were the results of a commitment to his studies. Jacob made an effort to achieve the highest possible standard of work which he could. In the classroom Jacob was consistently cooperative and enhanced the promotion of a positive learning environment for himself and others. His interactions with other students and staff were characterised by a mature, sincere and friendly approach and he has been unfailingly polite and reliable. 

 

Within the College, outstanding leadership qualities ensured that Jacob was chosen by staff and students as Acacia House Captain. These role in leadership allowed Jacob to demonstrate a genuine sense of service to others.

 

Jacob contributed to the life of the College and to the wider community, participating in many extra-curricular activies such as;

 

Committees: Arts / Social Action / Liturgy

Sporting: Basketball / Waterpolo

Cultural: Choir / "Roaar Arts" performer / Theatre Sports

Citizenship: Fundraising activities for various charities

 

In this involvement, Jacob motivated and encouraged his peers and cooperated well with staff and fellow students.

2003 - 2007

 

Jacob was a student at Stella Maris Primary School between 2003 and 2007. Jacob achieved high results in all of his classes.

 

During his time there Jacob was involved in many extra-cullicular outside of school including; Readers Cup, Chess, Choir and Guitar. This resulted in awards being won, such as;

 

• Yearling Strings Guitar Award

• Stella Maris Silver Music Award

• Readers Cup Silver Award

• Novice Chess Tournament Award

 

Jacob was always a very courteous student towards other students and teachers.

 

In 2007 he was awarded the St. Vincent de Paul Service Award - For actively responding to the needs of others in the Stella Maris Community.
